About us
Montana Tag Agent Services LLC is a private commercial registered agent and document preparation service. We are not a government agency, not the Montana Motor Vehicle Division (MVD), and not affiliated with any state department.
Our services
We provide commercial registered agent service, annual report preparation and filing, and vehicle title and registration document preparation for the entities we represent. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal, tax or accounting advice.
Fees
Official State of Montana filing fees are set by the State, passed through at cost and shown separately from our service fee. Our service fee is a private charge for our work and is shown on your order before you pay. We may add or change service fees for future orders.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and current information and documents.
- Keep your contact details on file up to date so forwarded notices reach you.
- Respond promptly to legal notices we forward — deadlines run from the date of service, not the date you read it.
- Ship original vehicle documents to the address we give you and keep tracking information.
Processing times and agency decisions
Filings are subject to review and approval by government agencies. We cannot guarantee approval or processing times, and are not responsible for delays or rejections caused by agency action or by incomplete, inaccurate or altered documents.
Out-of-state compliance
Vehicle registration requirements and tax obligations vary by state. Clients are advised to consult their local tax professional or state authorities regarding local registration compliance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the service fees you paid us for the service at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montana.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest revision.
